KEC is situated at Dhapakhel in Lalitpur in an area of about 25 ropanies of land. It is just about 15 minutes walk from Satdobato, Ring Road, Lalitpur. The site is pleasing and peaceful to create educational environment.
The physical facilities in KEC are as according to the requirements of the modern day engineering education. There are standard classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, library, canteen, internet facilities and many more.

Library

College maintains two libraries. One is in the building of Sitapaila for 10+2 students and another is in the Laboratory Block at Dhapakhel for engineering students. About 6000 books are available in the library, which is quite sufficient for the current number of students in the college. The students are encouraged to use the library as much as possible. Five borrowing cards are provided to each student.

Transportation

The college provides transportation facilities with several of the buses and other vehicles it owns. Different routes are set for the buses in order to facilitate the students and staff members coming from different corners of the city.
