College Regulations

Kantipur Engineering College is committed to maintain discipline. Students have to abide by the rules and regulations of the college. Violation of rules and regulations including negligence in attending classes, disrespect towards teachers and staff members, violation or uniform code, usage of alcohol and drugs and other activities which disturb the class and defame the image of the college may be sufficient reason to disqualify the students from entering into the college. If such acts occur repeatedly, the college management will be forced to take stringent actions against the students and some of these steps may include withdrawing the scholarship offered, prohibition from examination, admission suspension or even expulsion from the college.

If any property of the college is damaged by the students with negligence or ill-will, the students concerned will be held responsible and be duly fined or dealt with reasonable punishment.

Uniform Code

Students will have to come to the college in the uniform prescribed by the college. The KEC uniform consists of the following items.

a) Light Blue Striped shirt
b) Dark Blue Pants
c) Tie
d) Tie pin with the logo of the college
e) White Socks
f) Black Shoes
g) Navy blue blazer coat or sweater

Attendance

Attendance of the students is the basic criterion for the eligibility in the final exam. The students failing to have 75% attendance will not be allowed to apply for that final exam.
